The second batch of party members of the company's flood fighting commando team supports the flood prevention and flood fighting work in Wuhu
On the afternoon of July 24, the company's second batch of party members flood control commando team will go to Wanchun Second Station in the Economic and Development Zone to replace the first batch of teams on flood prevention and flood fighting.
At the departure ceremony, the Party Branch Secretary and Deputy General Manager of Company, Zhao Xiaowen, and General Manager Romuald Ponte cheered for the second batch of 6 team members and gave a mobilization speech.
In his speech, Zhao Xiaowen emphasized that the situation of flood prevention and flood fighting in Wuhu is still severe recently. Party and League members representatives must take up their spirits, shoulder their responsibilities, and never let up. And they should eriously investigate hidden dangers, actively respond to local requirements, and complete the tasks with high quality.
Romuald Ponte expressed his appreciation and admiration for everyone's positive attitude in serving the place. He asked everyone to pay attention to safety, protect themselves, obey the arrangements of the local government, and complete the task successfully.
The first team has been fighting for a week. During the on-duty process, they fully demonstrated the company’s party members’ spirit of not being afraid of hardship and being serious and responsible. Although there are 12 hours for each shift, everyone basically arrives one hour earlier, and communicates with the comrades of the previous class earnestly to check for deficiencies. When team members are on duty, they remind and help each other, work hard, and fill in the records in detail. This has also been affirmed and recognized by the on-site government leaders.
It is worth mentioning that this flood prevention work has been recognized and supported by both parent companies. After Bombardier learned about the company's participation in local flood control works, it carried out publicity reports on the official accounts of the group's three global social platforms: LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. The leaders of CRRC Puzhen also gave full recognition and praise.
