PBTS visits Huawei headquarters: deepening Cooperation and Seeking Common Development
On 6th, November, Romuald Ponte, GM of PBTS, visited Huawei's headquarter in Shenzhen, and met with Du Min, CEO of Huawei's BG Key Customers’ Department.
Bombardier has become a business partner with Huawei in the Yellow & Pink project in Bangkok, Thailand. PBTS vehicles have a direct technical interface with Huawei's products. We expect that through the in-depth cooperation in the project, mutual understanding could be enhanced. We will endeavor to strengthen the partnership in the future. Meanwhile, PBTS and Huawei discussed the course of domestic cooperation on the deepening application of 5G and cloud technology, and we agreed on a series of related technical exchanges. The visit was accompanied by Ghislain, Director of PBTS Project Department, and Gilles Deleuze, Commissioning Manager of PBTS Shenzhen project.

In the first half of 2018, PBTS officially signed the contract for Yellow&Pink vehicles in Bangkok, Thailand. PBTS is responsible for providing 288 straddle-type monorail vehicles (72 of 4-car trainset) for two lines. According to the official website of Huawei (https://e.huawei.com/se/news/se/huawei-to-deliver-turnkey-communication-solution), Huawei will provide a variety of advanced communication equipment for Yellow&Pink in Bangkok, Thailand.
